Trump and the President of the EU held a signing ceremony in Scotland today or yesterday. Trump is claiming it is the biggest trade deal ever signed. I don't know if that is true or bloviating. We'll wait and see how it works out. The EU was very anxious to sign a deal, so it might be significant. It sounds like a lot of tariff barriers are coming down and Europe has pledged to buy a lot of oil and gas from the U.S.

Yes, the Scotland trip was about finalizing a deal that has been in progress for longer than the EU wanted people to see. The EU cannot do anything significant within a mere 48 hour period. MSM "shock" over the accomplishment is just more fakery, they are struggling to regain relevancy without ever coming out and admitting their steadfast disinformation role or really relenting in their opposition. They've immediately turned to paint the accomplishment with a negative spin.

There is an energy drought in Europe after dismantling its power infrastructure in favor of a fantasy energy policy which deluded them into spurning Russia over Ukraine. The overconfidence has burned them, leaving few alternatives than to import fuels from halfway around the globe to make up some of the shortfall.
