Put a vinyl post In the ground, So I could mount a new bird feeder. The feeder has a camera in it and will photograph and video any birds that are feeding. It took a while to download the app and set up the bird feeder. It seems to be working okay right now. I also had to mount a solar panel to keep the batteries charged, that run the camera.

That seems like it would be a really great bird feeder, @Tony Page ! So , you can just watch the birds from your phone or laptop when the camera takes the pictures, or do yo have to something special to see the pictures ?
I think that would help make it easier to identify the birds, since you have an actual close-up picture, and not just seeing a bird flying around in the back yard.
Looking forward to reports, and maybe some actual bird photos from you !

Yes, it seems like it's got a lot of nice features. Hopefully they all will work. I have it setup to my phone, It will alert me when there's activity. It also has a built in bird identifier. The only down side is there is a small monthly fee for the some of these features.

I see that there is a thread for bird watching here. It is in the Outdoors section of the forum, and that would maybe be a great place for you to share stories and pictures from your bird feeder camera. A picture of the bird feeder would be awesome, too; so we could see what it looks like.

Just put some bird seed in it today. Not only does it hold seed, it has holders for Hummingbird nectar, dried insects, and. Fruit. I'm looking forward to seeing birds feeding.
If I get some decent photos I'll post some.
It's good to hear from you.

I'll look for it once I start posting bird photos.
