Busy day today. Today was Senior Shopping Day at the local Kroger affiliate, so that was first. We gotta get there before all those "darn old people" who plug up the aisles when they can't find stuff or decide what they want.

Then we went to the fair to pick up stuff that my wife entered that would could get back or wanted. They had a "bear bag" that will be used to feed bears in the local wildlife rehab center, and a box where produce that was still edible by humans could be put. The box goes to a local food bank. Flowers and herbs just go into the trash.
I then visited the greenhouses and picked all my hot peppers to make a "cowboy candy relish" that I use a lot to spice up hotdogs, sausages, and deviled eggs, etc. It was quite a "cluster" as I only usually do this once a year and I forget the sequence. I sort the OP peppers form the hybrids and select the OP peppers that I want to use for seeds and harvest the seeds and put them on labeled drying plates. then I grind the peppers up into a relish mix while the brine is cooking. While I was looking for the "grinder" (my wife did not return it to its usually place because she needed a ladder ( or me) and she didn't have either nearby, so she stashed it with the board games until she found a ladder)--which never occurred. I searched the closets, and the garage where canning stuff is often stored, but to no avail. I finally found it in the board games, but now my brine was boiling over all over the stove and I hadn't even started my grinding. I had to turn off the brine while I got the grinding thing set up and the peppers processed. I finally got the stuff ground up, and I reheated the brine. I got everything done at last. I was supposed to go into town to do some stuff when my wife got out of church, but I was in the middle of canning, so she went by herself...and forgot to pick up stuff she had specifically asked about. She was distracted by Michael's....
I think it sounds a bit like a
