Apparently there is uproar in Germany's government. After recent elections, the CDU, that has led Germany for most of the time since WWII, was voted back into power after a stint under more liberal rule by campaigning using the AFD (Nationalist) platform. Immediately after winning the election, Mr. Merz, the leader of the CDU, renounced everything he had been campaigning under and attempted to form a coalition with the party just voted out of power. As a result, there was rebellion in the Bundestag and he was unable to form a functioning government. He is using anti-Nazi laws to ban the second-most popular, now the most popular, political party in the country form any power.

If there is anyone here from Germany, please fill us in on what is happening. After the latest stuff going on in Romania, this is interesting news,

Nope, I'm not from Germany. But that does sound familiar, politicians saying one thing but doing something else. No President since I've been alive can deny that. Well, they can deny it until hell freezes over, but that doesn't mean they didn't do it...
